October 1, 2024

Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce its combination with Holley Driggs, a Nevada-based law firm with a practice mix and approach to serving clients that closely resembles its own. The combination, which becomes effective October 1, 2024, brings together one of the nation’s fastest-growing law firms with a highly respected group of attorneys local to Las Vegas.

Holley Driggs offers services across numerous practice areas with an established background in business and corporate law, bringing both depth and scope to Spencer Fane clients doing business nationally and throughout the Southwest. The combination also provides Holley Driggs access to a platform and support that advances its ability to serve the firm’s long-standing clients.

“Our firm has always been dedicated to providing the highest quality legal services to both our Nevada-based clients and multi-state companies doing business in Nevada while at the same time fostering a collegial workplace for our attorneys and staff,” Holley Driggs Partner Douglas Driggs said.

“Combining with Spencer Fane allows us to build on our success and access additional professional support and a platform that allows us to not only provide more services to our existing clients, but to also serve clients in new areas and geographies,” Holley Driggs Partner Richard Holley added.

Holley Driggs Partner Nick Santoro continued that, “With the additional resources we will have available to us with Spencer Fane, we will not only be able to provide an expanded set of services to our clients but will also be able to attract and retain the best legal talent.”

Holley Driggs has established a practice consistent with offerings at Spencer Fane with attorneys advising clients in areas including commercial litigation, bankruptcy, real estate, finance, corporate law, employment law, construction, natural resources, sports and entertainment, technology, and intellectual property. Holley Driggs advises many of Nevada’s most successful businesses.

Additionally, Spencer Fane and Holley Driggs each maintain deep roots in their local communities, which can be seen in their involvement and leadership in numerous charitable organizations and professional associations.

“From its modest postbellum beginnings to the present with 27 offices now coast to coast, the Spencer Fane commitment to client service has remained the same: Provide high quality legal service with integrity,” Las Vegas Office Managing Partner John Mowbray said. “We are excited that our new colleagues share the same determination and look forward to our firms serving clients for generations to come.”

Equally important, the firms have a shared commitment to managing their business with a culture-first mindset designed to provide professionals with significant autonomy and opportunity for collaboration.

“We feel humbled that such talented teams see in our firm a pathway to bring additional value to their clients while, at the same time, joining us in our endeavors to build an environment in which our professionals can thrive,” Spencer Fane Chair Patrick J. Whalen said. “The synergy between our firms extends even further in that our new colleagues share our interest in breaking away from the traditional law firm model in favor of an approach designed to nurture a culture of empowerment, autonomy, and collaboration.”
