Marilyn Fine quickly and skillfully advises clients on a full range of real estate transactions and litigation as well as corporate law matters, commercial litigation, and banking law. Her real estate clientele includes buyers and sellers, lenders, title insurers, escrow agencies, developers, landlords, and tenants.
Marilyn provides adept counsel on escrow liability, title insurance coverage, title insurance bad faith, breach of contract, and other claims as well as lien priority, quiet title, reformation, easements, boundary-line, foreclosures, and adverse possession disputes. She has in-depth knowledge of real estate law, corporate law, contracts, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance, assisting local, regional, and national clients with transactions and business needs and defending or prosecuting cases on their behalf in the event of litigation. Marilyn has extensive courtroom, trial, and appellate experience in the Nevada State District Courts, Nevada Court of Appeals, Nevada Supreme Court, U.S. District Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
In her business law practice, Marilyn counsels clients on the full range of corporate law matters, including entity formation, purchases and sales of assets and ownership interests, contracts – including vendor, project, employment, independent contractor, and franchise agreements – as well as mergers, acquisitions, consolidations, and general restructuring. Marilyn also advises on a wide variety of business disputes, including business tort claims, fraud, collections, contract, UCC, and shareholder disputes. She is recognized for providing prompt, cost-effective advice and support to businesses while ensuring corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
