The Spencer Fane San Jose office was pleased to return as a Gold sponsor for the Housing Industry Foundation (HIF)’s September Summit on September 17 in Santa Clara, California. In addition to raising more than $795,000 for HIF’s homelessness prevention programs, this year’s gala honored attorney Servando Sandoval with the Ron Granville Volunteer Impact Award.
As HIF’s flagship event, the September Summit brings together community leaders, developers, property managers, and financial institutions for an unforgettable night of fundraising, presentations, awards, entertainment, and networking. Proceeds for the event, which was attended by Servando, Karen McCay, Stephen Pahl, Ginger Sotelo, Eric Stephenson, and Andrew VanSlyke, go toward the nonprofit’s emergency housing grants, renovation projects, and other affordable housing initiatives that uplift families across the Santa Clara, San Mateo, and Alameda counties.
As a Ron Granville Volunteer Impact Award honoree, Servando was formally recognized as a multi-family housing industry leader who exhibits exceptional dedication and community impact toward addressing regional housing instability and affordable housing initiatives. The Spencer Fane Multi-Family Housing attorneys appreciated the opportunity to celebrate Servando’s recognition, connect with clients and industry peers, and support HIF’s mission to help individuals and families remain in or return to stable housing.
