Spencer Fane was honored to host a client reception on September 21 ahead of the American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources’ (ABA SEER) 30th Fall Conference at The Bridge in the Renaissance Nashville Hotel.
The reception featured a welcome from attorneys Sheri Jacobs, Drew Brought, James Crumlin, Jane Fedder, Jessica Merrigan, Bethany Vanhooser, Kristen Walker, and Kathleen Whitby before a night of networking, live music, and refreshments that included a featured cocktail made with Tennessee’s own Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey.
The ABA SEER 30th Fall Conference, which occurred September 21-23 in Nashville, Tennessee, coincided with the 50th anniversaries of monumental federal environmental laws such as the Clean Water Act; the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act; the Ocean Dumping Act; the Coastal Zone Management Act; and the Marine Mammal Protection Act. The conference reflected on the legacy of these and other historic environmental laws while focusing on a future that involves emerging topics and trends that are fundamentally changing the course of legal practice.
