Brittainy Joyner and Kristen Walker Named LCLD Pathfinders

March 21, 2023

Spencer Fane attorneys Brittainy Joyner and Kristen Walker have been named Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Pathfinders for 2023.

The multifaceted Pathfinder program provides participants with the opportunity to learn from top leaders in the legal profession as well as career development experts. Over the course of seven months, Brittainy and Kristen will join their fellow 2023 LCLD Pathfinders to participate in an exclusive, unique leadership and professional development curriculum. The 462 Pathfinders will have several opportunities — from class meetings to group peer circles — to meet and interact with their peers, both in person and in a virtual format.

“Much thought and research [are] behind the design of the Pathfinder program,” said LCLD President Robert J. Grey Jr. “[It] will serve to advance high-potential diverse attorneys to the next level of their careers.”

Selected by leaders at LCLD member corporations and law firms such as Spencer Fane, Pathfinders have been identified as diverse, early-career emerging leaders who have distinguished — or have the potential to distinguish — themselves within their organizations.

When they graduate from the LCLD Pathfinders Program, Brittainy and Kristen will join attorneys Valentine Uduebor, Linda Knight, Brian Peterson, and Natalie Washington in LCLD Alumni Program membership.

As members of the Spencer Fane Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group, Brittainy and Kristen successfully create and implement legal strategies across various practice areas. They provide strong and detailed advocacy for their clients to resolve critical, complex litigation matters.
