The Spencer Fane Dallas and Plano offices were honored to be a Pearl Sponsor for the Dallas Asian American Bar Association (DAABA) Annual Awards Night on October 3. Attorneys Christine Chasse, Kim Kerns, and Namrita Notani supported the event.
Held at the Dallas Museum of Art, this year’s awards gathering featured a cocktail reception, dinner, fireside chat with Lola Lin (Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Secretary of GE Vernova), and invite-only VIP reception. Guests also enjoyed exclusive access to the museum’s infinity room exhibit for artist Yayoi Kusama as DAABA celebrated their achievements over the year and awarded law students with scholarships.
“[We] were proud to sponsor an organization that does so much, in a beautiful venue at the Dallas Museum of Modern Art,” Christine shared. “When I was a law student, [DAABA] connected me with AAPI mentors in the legal community and awarded me a scholarship.”
DAABA is a legal organization that supports the professional growth of and provides community for Asian American attorneys, law students, and other legal professionals located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex through mentoring, scholarship and award, social, networking, and volunteering opportunities. With over 350 members, DAABA is one of the fastest-growing bar associations in the area.
