Reinforcing a profound commitment to its foundational diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, Spencer Fane is excited to announce the firm has joined the Association of Law Firm Diversity Professionals (ALFDP).
Spencer Fane embeds DEI into its culture through initiatives that embrace inclusivity in recruiting, enhance equitable opportunities for professional development, and uplift diversity-focused networks both inside and outside the firm. ALFDP is the latest organization with which Spencer Fane has partnered to drive such meaningful and positive change.
“As Spencer Fane continues to reinvent the traditional law firm model, it’s vital we nurture the core values that allow our professionals and clients to flourish,” said firm Chief Talent & Diversity Officer Latricia Shepard, who attended ALFDP’s Annual Conference last November. “Our industry peers who make up ALFDP provide such valuable perspectives and knowledge for achieving that vision, and we’re eager to explore where this collaboration takes us.”
Founded in January 2006, ALFDP catalyzes the advancement of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession through collective knowledge, vision, expertise, and advocacy. The not-for-profit works toward this goal by promoting the professional growth of its members, establishing and maintaining ethical standards for the profession, liaising with organizations focused on DEI, conducting educational programs, and sponsoring and conducting research.
