Hosted by the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association, Lavender Law has provided specialty sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities for thousands of LGBTQIA+ and allied legal professionals since its 1988 inception. As a law firm that centers diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and is continuously advancing its support for the LGBTQIA+ community, Spencer Fane is proud to not only sponsor this event but also to participate in its programming.
On August 7, the firm will be one of several LGBTQIA+ friendly organizations recruiting at the Career Fair. Top-level law students and lateral candidates nationwide can meet Spencer Fane professionals at Booth 121 and learn about the firm’s dynamic culture, ongoing growth, and career opportunities.
Then, on August 9, returning event presenter DJ Healey will co-chair Lavender Law’s Intellectual Property Law Institute. Participants will share their collective wisdom, discuss cutting-edge legal strategies, and have the chance to earn CLE credit. Topics will include trending IP law issues, updated U.S. trademark policies, and panelists’ personal experiences as LGBTQIA+ IP practitioners.
