Spencer Fane’s Kansas City office was pleased to host two Business Law classes from Rockhurst High School on March 24 and 31. Rockhurst graduate and Kansas City partner Pat McInerney coordinated the event, which featured discussions with Dan Nelson, Blake Smith, Ben Shantz, Pete Hartweger, and Emily Reed .
The attorneys harnessed their career experience and industry knowledge in their conversations with the Rockhurst students, discussing a diverse slate of topics including preparation for law school, practice areas like business litigation and risk management, NIL and sports law, international war crimes litigation, white collar criminal defense, and M&A work. The groups came armed with excellent questions for our lawyers, leading to some great discussions.
