Emily Reed
Overview
Emily Reed represents clients in complex litigation and high-stakes white collar investigations and defense, quickly identifying legal strategies that avoid serious penalties and minimize ongoing risk. As a full-service litigator, she has experience managing all aspects of a case, including pre-dispute investigations and resolutions, litigation in state and federal courts, and post-trial motions and appeals.
Emily’s practice focuses on assisting clients with their most important legal matters, including pre-dispute government or internal investigations, business tort and contract claims, employment disputes, antitrust and class-action defense, and trade secret and restrictive covenant disputes. She also represents financial institutions and investment advisory firms in securities-related matters, including AAA and FINRA arbitrations across the country.
Prior to joining Spencer Fane, Emily completed a clerkship in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas.
