Attorneys in our Foundations practice area have formed a range of foundations, from private foundations for individuals to foundations in support of public charities in fundraising activities. While some foundations were formed to administer charitable endowments and charitable remainder trusts, another was formed to hold the proceeds from the sale of a hospital for endowment and grant making activities. For many of our foundation clients, we provide ongoing tax advice and continue to maintain tax exempt status through the preparation of Forms 990-PF.
