Firm attorneys Jeremy Lowe, Eric Miller, and Gavriel Schreiber were featured in the Kansas City Business Journal (KCBJ)’s recent article, Here Are 10 Noteworthy Lateral Hires Kansas City Law Firms Made in 2025. Spencer Fane was the only law firm with three attorneys on the list.

In the piece, KCBJ reporter James Dornbrook compiled a list of renowned attorneys who have joined notable firms over the past year and increased their talent benches. The article discussed each attorney’s background and notable achievements. Among other highlights, Jeremy was noted for a multibillion-dollar jury trial win that represented “a landmark victory that reshaped 150 years of double patenting law.” Eric was showcased for his impressive Employee Benefits practice, which includes “extensive experience preparing filings under [the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Department of Labor]’s sponsored voluntary compliance programs.” Gavri was featured for his past work as general counsel for Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas, which included handling litigation, drafting ordinances, and spearheading “high-profile development initiatives.”
