Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Kevin Powers joined the firm’s Houston office as a partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group.
Kevin provides representation in complex commercial litigation across diverse industries, including construction, real estate, oil and gas, financial services, and manufacturing. With more than two decades of experience as a trial attorney, he takes a comprehensive approach to litigation, vigorously advocating for his clients’ key business interests and objectives while maintaining a broad view of matters involving breaches of contract, fraud, property damages, and partnership disagreements, among others.
Uniquely, Kevin represents both plaintiffs and defendants, experience which allows him to anticipate and counter opposing perspectives while tailoring clear and compelling narratives at all stages of disputes.

Kevin completed multiple degrees at Southern Methodist University before earning his Juris Doctor at Emory University School of Law, also attending the prestigious University of Houston Law Center as a visiting student.
A leader in his focus areas, Kevin has achieved a curated track record of success and is notably Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
