Spencer Fane Team Helps Organize Roundtable on Digital Assets and Blockchain Policy

Spencer Fane attorneys Alex Schoephoerster and Kirstin Kanski were instrumental in organizing a August 17 roundtable discussion with U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil on the evolving regulatory landscape for digital assets and blockchain technology.

The event gathered digital asset industry leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and members of MN Blockchain and MN Crypto Council. Rep. Steil – chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Digital Assets, Financial Technology, and Artificial Intelligence and sponsor of the House’s STABLE Act – shared insights on recent legislative developments, including the GENIUS Act and the CLARITY Act. The roundtable also explored ongoing challenges related to digital assets, international demand for access to the U.S. dollar, and the how new legal developments affect the industry.
