Spencer Fane professionals were honored to participate in multiple business-track sessions during the 2026 Annual Meeting of The Missouri Bar, held Sept. 16-18 in Kansas City. The annual conference was a premier opportunity for legal industry professionals to experience educational programming, professional development, and networking opportunities.
On Thursday, firm chair Patrick J. Whalen joined fellow law firm leaders for the discussion, Future-Ready Firms: A Managing Partners’ Panel on Trends Reshaping Legal Practice. The session explored developments influencing the legal profession and the strategies firms are implementing to adapt to an evolving industry. The following day, attorneys Crystal Howard and Camber Jones, along with Burton Taylor, Spencer Fane Chief Marketing Officer, participated in a panel, titled Ethical & Effective Marketing Practices, focused on marketing and client development best practices for legal professionals.
Through these CLE engagements, Spencer Fane was honored to foster discussions that support the continued growth and advancement of the legal profession while connecting with peers from across Missouri. Pat, Burton, Crystal, and Camber’s participation reflects the firm’s commitment to sharing knowledge, engaging with the broader legal community, and contributing to conversations that shape the future of the business.
