Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce David S. Law and Christiana L. Leinbaugh have joined the firm’s Denver office as associates in the Labor and Employment and Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice groups, respectively.
David helps clients resolve complex employment and labor issues so they can focus on achieving their business goals. He advises employers on terminations, wage and hour compliance, and other day-to-day employment issues, and revises company policies and contracts to mitigate risk. An experienced litigator, David has successfully defended multiple clients in state and federal courts and has written numerous prevailing briefs. He previously represented plaintiffs suing for unpaid overtime and discrimination, gaining an opposing perspective to his current practice he uses to develop more effective litigation strategies.
While navigating complex commercial and business litigation, Christiana focuses on advancing her clients’ interests at each stage of the process, ensuring her strategies are creative and adaptable to meet shifting objectives. Her representation primarily involves matters related to tort claims, partnership disputes, employment, creditor’s rights, breaches of contract, and construction. With a concentrated knowledge of the multifaceted nature of business disputes, Christiana proactively works to achieve favorable outcomes with strategic solutions that preserve her clients’ relationships whenever possible.
“Our Denver office is committed to upholding Spencer Fane’s strong reputation and ongoing dedication to provide excellent legal work and client service in both labor and employment and commercial litigation matters,” said Ron Fano, Office Managing Partner for Spencer Fane in Denver. “David and Christiana offer impressive backgrounds with diverse skill sets that will not only complement our team, but also help us better serve our existing clients and reach new clients as we expand.”
David and Christiana bring the Denver office’s attorney headcount to 71, joining a prolific group of legal professionals in both the Labor and Employment and Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice groups as the firm continues its marked national growth.
