Spencer Fane was pleased to serve as a sponsor for the Missouri Independent Bankers Association (MIBA)’s 46th Annual Convention & Expo on September 11-13 in Lake Ozark, Missouri. Attorney Shelli Clarkston represented the firm at the event and also presented one of the convention’s September 13 sessions.
This year’s MIBA Convention & Expo took place at The Lodge of Four Seasons and featured advocacy, loyalty, and education programming for Missouri banking industry professionals. The event also included opportunities to network, enjoy live and culinary entertainment, golf, and participate in a silent auction. Shelli presented the session Combating Electronic Fraud.
MIBA is an organization of small and medium-sized banks, locally owned and operated and dedicated to meeting the financial needs of their communities. The association is dedicated to the preservation of banking law and structure, which will ensure the continued survival and prosperity of Missouri’s independent banks.
