Spencer Fane lobbyist Mike Warner was invited to speak during a legislative law class lesson on October 20 at the Texas Tech University School of Law.
Mike provided a detailed overview of the ins and outs of the Texas Legislature and Congress for Professor William R. Keffer’s class. He also delved into non-attorney professions that benefit from a legal degree, including careers ranging from analysts to politicians, and hosted a Q&A session.
At Spencer Fane, Mike leads the firm’s Texas Governmental Affairs Group. He brings more than 25 years of consultative experience working with municipalities and local, state, and federal government officials. His work includes crafting policies at all government levels on several issues, including the protection of natural resources, combating insurance fraud, affordable housing, and a variety of business issues.
