Spencer Fane attorney Melissa Sherman was featured on Drinks With Leaders, a web series hosted by Aaron Fulk and Scott Havens where guests discuss Kansas City, their careers, and more.
Every week, Drinks With Leaders poses questions from viewers to local “rainmakers.” Nate Orr served as a guest earlier this year. In her episode, Melissa highlighted her love of the city, her passion for participating in organizations such as KC Can! and American Inns of Court, the challenges she’s faced as a female litigator, and her business litigation practice at the firm.
“I work … to bring them peace,” Melissa said regarding her clients. She also shared that her profession has given her a “by-the-hour” mentality that reminds her to value her time whether she’s staying productive at work or spending time with her family.
