February 9, 2023

In a recent Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) article, Spencer Fane attorneys Laura Fischer and Natalie Miller recently detailed changes enacted by Congress and regulatory agencies that affect group health plan sponsors.

The article – Congress, Regulators Issue Welcome Deadline Relief for Group Health Plans – was first published on the firm’s website and outlines important deadline extensions under the Affordable Care Act, ERISA, and the Consolidated Appropriations Act.

Such “welcome relief … should make health plan administration and reporting less burdensome,” they said.
