Kurt Rozelsky Named South Carolina State Chair of American College of Trial Lawyers

Spencer Fane is pleased to share the American College of Trial Lawyers has appointed attorney Kurt Rozelsky to serve as Chair of the South Carolina State Committee for the College. The announcement was made during the recent 2025 Annual Meeting of the College in Washington, D.C.

Founded in 1950, the College comprises preeminent members of the Trial Bar from the U.S. and Canada and is recognized as the leading trial lawyer organization in both countries. Fellowship in the College is extended only by invitation, after careful investigation, to those experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers illustrate the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility, and collegiality. Attorneys must have a minimum of 15 years of trial experience before they can be considered for Fellowship, and membership can never be more than 1% of the total lawyer population of any state or province.

Kurt was inducted into the College in 2018 and also serves on the organization’s Federal Rules of Evidence Committee. Additional Spencer Fane Fellows include Oliver Pancheri, Nicholas Santoro (Nevada State Committee Chair), and Ed Yarbrough.

At the firm, Kurt leads the Spencer Fane Greenville office while focusing on trial work, mediation, and civil litigation throughout the Southeastern U.S. and nationally. He has significant experience as lead trial counsel in a variety of matters, including products liability, commercial transportation, employment, and business disputes.
