Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to welcome Sheryl K. Bridges to the firm’s Denver office as of counsel in the Health Care Practice Group.
Sheryl represents health care professionals facing investigations, disciplinary proceedings, and compliance disputes before their respective licensing bodies, securing optimal outcomes through mediation, negotiation, and, when necessary, litigation.
Beyond licensing, Sheryl serves as a litigator for health care professionals in state, federal, and appellate courts and in arbitration for medical malpractice, contractual disputes, premises liability, and related matters. Her clients include physicians, nurses, mental health providers, dentists, and physical therapists, as well as hospitals in professional peer reviews.

After receiving her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Sheryl earned her Juris Doctor from George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School.
Outside of private practice, Sheryl has dedicated significant time to community initiatives focused on mentorship and volunteering. She currently sits on the University of Colorado School of Medicine’s Admissions Committee and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado’s Committee on Conduct, provides pro bono services for the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network, and serves as a mentor within the Colorado Bar Association’s Colorado Attorney Mentoring Program.
