Sheryl K. Bridges
Overview
Sheryl Bridges represents health care professionals facing investigations, disciplinary proceedings, and compliance disputes before their respective licensing bodies, securing optimal outcomes through mediation, negotiation, and, when necessary, litigation.
Beyond licensing, Sheryl serves as a litigator for health care professionals in state, federal, and appellate courts and in arbitration for medical malpractice, contractual disputes, premises liability, and related matters. Her clients include physicians, nurses, mental health providers, dentists, and physical therapists, as well as hospitals in professional peer reviews.
In addition to her work as a litigator, Sheryl serves as a dedicated counselor for general health care matters. She drafts and advises on legislation, investigates and resolves complaints, assists with subpoena responses, and helps navigate HIPAA and related federal rules, among other comprehensive services. She also increasingly serves as outside general counsel to clients, providing strategic guidance on a broad range of day-to-day legal and business matters, including some limited employment matters.
