Spencer Fane attorneys Theresa Becerra and Servando Sandoval presented at the 48th annual AHMA-PSW Conference in Los Angeles. The firm was also a sponsor for the May 19-21 event.
The pair each held two sessions for their presentations. During her property management-focused seminar, Theresa educated attendees on how to successfully prepare and serve a legal notice. She also explained justifications for such notices and explained the differences between the various notice periods.
For his presentation, Servando equipped supervisors with the knowledge and best practices necessary to effectively handle employee requests for reasonable accommodations and work-related restrictions. He explored supervisor responsibilities and how they can navigate sensitive situations with compliance, support, and respect.
