Spencer Fane is honored to announce the firm as the sole 2025 organization/law firm recipient of the Houston Bar Association (HBA) Diversity Awards.
Since 2019, The HBA Diversity Awards have celebrated outstanding achievements by law offices, legal departments, and individuals to advance inclusion and equality in the legal profession. In 2024, attorney DeAndrea Washington was recognized at the individual level, and this year Spencer Fane has earned this distinction with its ongoing dedication to providing programming, educational opportunities, and professional and community partnerships to over 1,000 legal professionals that advance the firm’s inclusive culture. In addition to removing barriers to leadership and development opportunities for its attorneys and staff, Spencer Fane also strives to mirror the diversity of markets and communities the firm serves, as reflected by the firm’s sizable civic, professional, and financial commitment to Houston.
Spencer Fane was formally acknowledged as a Diversity Award honoree at the 2025 HBA DEI Summer Associate Luncheon on June 13. Firm attorneys Laura Alaniz, Yara Calcaño, Colin Goodman, and Anton Stewart attended the event along with Summer Associate Charles Mulholland.
