Spencer Fane Women ADVOCATE hosted a community Mahjong Night on May 9 in Dallas for firm professionals, clients, and friends. Attorneys Mavish Bana, Sarah Fandrey, and Laurie Patton organized the event with Christine Chasse, Sonja McGill, Namrita Notani, and Tracey Wallace also attending.
Held at Yoga Art Music (YAM Dallas), the gathering centered on fun, learning, and camaraderie for both beginning and experienced Mahjong players. In addition to beginner lessons and guided play, the event’s 20 attendees enjoyed drinks, appetizers, and connection.
Women ADVOCATE – which stands for “Advance. Develop. Visualize. Own. Champion. Advise. Thrive. Engage.” – is one of three connect groups at Spencer Fane that provides resources to develop its members and champion their interests and efforts. Open to all firm professionals, the group implements internal and external initiatives that cultivate individual talent development, firmwide business development, and networking opportunities.
