Spencer Fane attorneys Andrew Brought and Paul Jacobson presented at the Midwest Construction Safety Conference (MCSC) on March 9 in Blue Springs, Missouri.
For their presentation, OSHA Inspection Management, Drew and Paul utilized their extensive OSHA defense experience to advise a packed room of construction safety personnel on industry best practices and considerations regarding OSHA inspections. Focusing on protecting company rights during such assessments, the team also addressed OSHA protocols and highlighted current OSHA enforcement priorities and major workplace safety initiatives by the U.S. Department of Labor, including trenching safety, fall protection violations, and OSHA’s new focus on instance-by-instance violations.
The session served as part of the conference and expo’s two-day program. Hosted by The Builders, a chapter of the AGC, the conference provided top-tier safety education from thought leaders across the construction industry.
