Lauren Voke advises individual and corporate clients on compliance, licensing, and large-scale transactions in highly regulated markets with a focus on the alcohol beverage system, where she brings a foundational understanding of all three tiers, tied-house issues, trade practice compliance, and alcohol licensing. Her tailored strategies have yielded a track record of optimal, effective solutions for a wide range of clients, from small startups to global organizations. She regularly aids corporations with national recognition, strengthening their brands through compliant marketing and expansion, but also enjoys the production, labeling, and marketing of new and innovative alcohol beverage products for new organizations.
Supported by a diverse background as former in-house corporate counsel, Lauren adeptly guides clients through all aspects of corporate governance, contract negotiation, lobbying, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance. Paired with her deep, cross-industry experience in private practice, she maintains a firm grasp of the complex and often intersecting federal, state, and local laws and regulations surrounding the manufacturing, sale, distribution, and marketing of regulated products.
Well-versed in high-value matters, Lauren regularly guides clients through multimillion-dollar mergers and acquisitions, ensures compliance with post-transaction regulatory requirements nationwide, and oversees large-scale licensing projects. She focuses on the management of national licensing portfolios, with specialized experience in the manufacturing and retail tiers. She is also well-versed in gaming compliance relating to the advertising, marketing, and promotion of games of chance and sweepstakes.
Lauren boasts early-career experience in civil litigation involving tort claims, constitutional rights, and commercial disputes – multidisciplinary knowledge which contributes to a more proactive, adaptable approach when navigating complexities in her current practice.
