Russell Woody
Overview
Russ Woody helps businesses, employers, and other organizations resolve disputes and manage legal challenges so they can protect their interests and remain focused on their objectives.
For more than 20 years, Russ has represented clients in state and federal courts across a broad range of civil litigation matters. His practice includes commercial disputes, labor and employment matters, construction matters, contract claims, tort litigation, and industry-specific disputes. By combining strategic advocacy with practical business judgment, Russ helps clients navigate complex conflicts and pursue effective solutions tailored to their goals.
Not every dispute is best resolved in the courtroom. As a certified mediator, Russ works with parties to identify opportunities for resolution outside of litigation, helping clients evaluate risk, control costs, and achieve practical outcomes when appropriate. His experience as both an advocate and neutral provides valuable perspective throughout the dispute resolution process.
In addition to his legal practice, Russ is an active leader in the legal and civic communities. He serves on the boards of professional and nonprofit organizations and is committed to supporting the development of the legal profession and expanding access to justice throughout Oklahoma.
