Overview
Alexis is a transactional and regulatory attorney who advises industry members across the alcohol beverage, cannabis, and food industries.
Alexis advises clients on corporate structuring and mergers and acquisitions in the regulated products space, in which she regularly manages transactions in the multimillion- to multibillion-dollar range. She and her team represent clients on these projects by assisting with due diligence, drafting and negotiating applicable provisions in purchase agreements, and filing and obtaining approvals for any licensing work triggered by the transaction.
In addition, Alexis helps clients with ongoing compliance considerations in these regulated industries. For example, her team assists clients with voluntarily disclosing identified noncompliance to applicable regulatory agencies when appropriate and / or correcting such noncompliance.
Alexis drafts and negotiates contracts on behalf of clients in the regulated products space, including distribution agreements between wholesalers and suppliers.
Alexis is proficient in Spanish, which helps her assist a diverse client base.
