Alexander Baker
Overview
Alexander Baker represents clients in complex commercial litigation and white-collar criminal and regulatory matters, quickly and decisively addressing potential risks and penalties to create the most favorable solutions amid high-stakes disputes in and out of the courtroom.
With significant knowledge of U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission regulations, Alex’s work includes SEC investigations and securities-related litigation. He also has experience conducting reviews of federally registered broker-dealers and investment advisors while navigating potential FINRA rules / securities laws violations.
In the digital asset space, Alex has represented clients from pre-discovery through trial, notably and successfully representing the founder of one of the nation’s largest cryptocurrency mining companies in an investigation by the FBI and U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Alex is a recognized legal advocate for social media influencers and other prominent online personalities in litigation. He notably established and co-leads the firm’s Social Media Influencer Market Team. His multidisciplinary practice also extends to sports and entertainment law, where he continues to build a presence and specifically serves as a thought leader in the privatization of collegiate sports.

- Represented the former CEO of a prominent genetics and biosciences company in a securities fraud lawsuit.
- Represented the SEC-appointed receiver in a worldwide Ponzi scheme.
- Led a team of attorneys in representing one of the world’s largest companies in a federal investigation of alleged violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
