Warzel Strengthens Labor and Employment Group in Phoenix

June 13, 2022

Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Rob Warzel has joined the Labor and Employment practice group as an associate in the firm’s Phoenix office.

Warzel’s practice encompasses all aspects of human resources counseling, employment litigation and traditional labor law, helping businesses identify risks and equipping them with the tools necessary to minimize the time and resources spent on legal matters. He works with clients ranging from large enterprises to sole proprietorships in complex matters involving breach of contract, wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, fraud, negligence and more. His specific industry experience includes mining, entertainment, transportation, construction, financial services and agriculture.

“Our clients continue to face an increasingly burdensome regulatory and legal environment related to labor and employment matters,” said Andy Federhar, Office Managing Partner for Spencer Fane in Phoenix. “We remain committed to providing the resources necessary to fully address these needs, and Rob will be a fantastic addition to our bench in this area.”

Born and raised in Canada, Warzel worked as a guard for the Canada Border Services Agency while pursuing his undergraduate degree in international business at Carleton University in Ottawa. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law.

Warzel is fluent in French, and outside of his legal work, he volunteers as a youth ice hockey coach, as a judge for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court, and as member of the Moot Alumni Association’s Core Team.
