Spencer Fane attorney Wale Akinmoladun and summer associates Alexis Denny, Ivana Easley, Henry Hong, and Matthew Swords toured and volunteered at Wylie House, part of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City (RMHC-KC).
The Spencer Fane team toured Wylie House with RMHC-KC Chief Development Officer Mike Jeffries, who shared insights about the changing health care landscape, which has caused an unprecedented number of families to utilize RMHC-KC services. Next, the group made approximately 50 different lunch sandwiches for the families staying at Wylie House.
At Spencer Fane, Wale represents school districts, health and commercial insurance companies, employers, and other businesses and individuals involved in state and federal litigation, and administrative state fair hearing appeals. He also works to settle differences by using dispute resolution to anticipate, avoid, and resolve litigation. Wale is a proud supporter of RMHC-KC because the charity helped to keep his family close during a family health crisis. Last year, he was appointed to the RMHC-KC Board of Directors.
