November 6, 2023

Spencer Fane attorney Toni Ojoyeyi wrote an article recently published by the New England Biz Law Update.

The piece, Understanding the Proposal to Extend Overtime, is an extension of her firm blog post that also appeared in a September issue of The Minnesota Lawyer. In the article, she outlines the most pertinent details of the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL)’s proposal to revise the rules for white-collar overtime exemptions and minimum wage under the Fair Labor Standards Act. She provides several action items for employers that include the following:

At Spencer Fane, Toni counsels clients on the implementation of effective labor and employment best practices and policies while helping them navigate an increasingly complex regulatory and compliance environment for businesses. This helps them to avoid employer-employee disputes and potentially costly litigation.
