Spencer Fane is pleased to announce attorney Thomas Hiatt has been chosen by the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce to participate in its Centurions Leadership Program. He is one of 43 Kansas Citians selected to the Apex Class of 2026.
The Centurions Leadership Program is a two-year immersion in leadership and community engagement activities during which participants gain valuable insights on the issues facing the Kansas City region and learn about opportunities to become more civically engaged. The program began in 1976 and has over 1,400 alumni.
As a member of this volunteer-focused organization, Thomas will explore the opportunities and issues of the Greater Kansas City area to help shape the future of the region. The program includes community service projects, social activities, and mentorship.
At the firm, Thomas is a trial attorney who helps businesses in all aspects of litigation including consulting pre-lawsuit, conducting and managing e-discovery, engaging in motion practice, and trying cases to verdict. He has experience in construction defect and payment disputes, antitrust litigation, collection work, and financial services litigation involving fraudulent transfer and piercing the corporate veil theories.
