Spencer Fane attorneys Thomas Hayde and Ben Shantz recently published an article in Circuits, the newsletter of the Computer and Technology Section of the State Bar of Texas.
Titled “EDPB Guidance on GDPR’s Jurisdictional Scope,” Thomas and Ben’s article outlines key takeaways of the European Data Protection Board’s (EDPB) guidance on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
“The 3/2018 Guidance on the jurisdictional scope of GDPR is helpful in many respects but leaves many important questions open—especially for organizations with websites accessible to EU-based data subjects and that are using cookies and other browser analytics,” Thomas and Ben explain in the article.
