Spencer Fane attorney Stephanie Lovett-Bowman received the 2024 General Practitioner award from Missouri Lawyers Media (MLM) as part of the media company’s annual Women’s Justice Awards.
Per MLM, the awards “recognize women across Missouri who have demonstrated leadership, integrity, service, sacrifice, and accomplishment in improving the quality of justice and exemplifying the highest ideals of the legal profession.” The General Practitioner award, in particular, highlights a top woman attorney who handles multiple practice areas with a comprehensive skill set.
At the firm, Stephanie is a litigator and counselor who specializes in advising educational institutions and other employers to resolve disputes and implement best practices to avoid risk. Her wide breadth of experience also includes conducting internal and outside investigations, regularly representing clients in administrative proceedings and lawsuits, providing counsel on sensitive employee issues, and successfully arguing appeals.
