Spencer Fane attorney Stacy Harper will conduct four upcoming presentations on insights gained from the Forest Park Anti-Kickback case.
At the AAPC Regional Conference in Seattle, Stacy will present “Stay Compliant with Kickback Expansion” discussing compliance assessments in the wake of the Forest Park case. She will also participate in the panel “Legal Trends and Issues” panel discussion. The panel will cover insights into current and future legal concerns for medical facilities facing increased financial scrutiny.
At a Greater Kansas City MGMA seminar titled “Structuring Physician Relationships After Forest Park,” Stacy will cover Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute as well as obligations under the Elimination of Kickbacks in Recovery Act (EKRA) and the Travel Act.
Stacy will also be presenting regarding structuring physician financial relationships in the wake of Forest Park for the AAPC Kansas City Chapter and for the Greater Kansas City Society of Health Care Attorneys in November.
