Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to welcome Chandler P. Thompson to the firm’s Salt Lake City office as a partner in the Banking and Financial Services Practice Group.
Chandler regularly defends lenders and financial institutions in wrongful foreclosure litigation. Well-versed in navigating complex legal frameworks governing consumer financial products, he has worked extensively with claims arising under the Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and related state and federal laws and regulations.
Chandler’s diverse profile of client work also spans construction, insurance, real estate, and toxic tort litigation.

Chandler received his bachelor’s degree with high honors from the University of Montana before earning his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law. In addition to his critical work in Utah, he is licensed to practice in Wyoming, Montana, and Georgia.
