Chandler P. Thompson
Overview
Chandler Thompson represents clients in diverse commercial litigation matters with a primary focus on consumer lending. He regularly defends lenders and financial institutions in wrongful foreclosure litigation, including claims arising under the Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and related state and federal laws and regulations.
With extensive experience navigating complex legal frameworks governing consumer financial products, Chandler provides thorough counsel on compliance requirements and regulatory risks in addition to serving as a fierce courtroom advocate.
Chandler has also litigated matters spanning construction, insurance, real estate, and toxic tort. In construction and real estate law, specifically, he has managed cases related to the construction of oil and gas pipelines, industrial farm operations, and condominiums. This work entails significant cross-sector knowledge as well as consideration of local ordinances impacting each project.
