December 4, 2023

Spencer Fane attorneys Beth Siemer and Aurora Kammerer authored an article recently published by Health Law Weekly, an American Health Law Association publication.

The piece, HRSA Ending 340B Offsite Facility Registration COVID-19 Waiver, originated as a firm blog post and explains changes in 340B program participation requirements for related health care entities. Beth and Aurora explained who can take advantage of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)’s grace period for registering in the Office of Pharmacy Affairs Information System (OPAIS).

At Spencer Fane, Beth advises individuals and organizations navigating complex state and federal health care laws that govern transactions, compliance, and reimbursement, with particular expertise in pharmacy and the 340B program. Aurora provides collaborative client service centered on understanding the challenges providers face related to ongoing changes in health care access, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements, health information technology, and government fraud investigations.
