Spencer Fane sponsored a table for the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada (LACSN)’s 23rd Annual Pro Bono Awards Luncheon on December 8, 2023, in Las Vegas. The firm was pleased to offer this table to law students currently attending the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
Every year, this event honors the generous attorneys who donate their time and knowledge across LACSN’s pro bono projects. These extraordinary efforts ensure that thousands of Southern Nevada’s most vulnerable residents receive essential legal services.
Established in 1958, LACSN is a private, nonprofit organization that ensures equal access to justice through free legal advice and representation for those who cannot afford to hire an attorney. The organization runs Nevada’s largest pro bono program, matching private attorneys with low-income clients. Spencer Fane attorneys who have partnered with LACSN include 2019 Pro Bono Attorney of the Year Mary Bacon, 2018 Pro Bono Volunteer of the Month Jessica Chong, and LACSN Children’s Attorney Project Attorney Ayesha Mehdi.
