Spencer Fane Strengthens Litigation Bench With Associate in Plano

Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Mavish Bana has joined the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group as an associate in the firm’s Plano office.

Bana’s practice encompasses a wide range of complex commercial litigation, labor and employment, and Texas Medical Board investigation matters. She is skilled in motion practice, hearings, depositions, trial advocacy, mediation and arbitration. She represents a variety of clients from individuals and startups to Fortune 500 companies across a variety of industries, including banking and finance, retail, hospitality, construction, restaurants, franchising and health care. Bana has independently managed litigation from the pre-suit investigation stage through final resolution for over 3-years. She has defended a high-exposure arbitration through the final evidentiary hearing, won two (2) motions for summary judgment, taken and defended over thirty (30) depositions, mediated over twenty-five (25) cases, filed and defended countless motions, and managed voluminous discovery including that of complex electronically stored information.

Bana maintains active involvement in the Dallas Women Lawyers Association and Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, and she serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the South Asian Bar Association of Dallas. She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University and earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law.
