Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Sarah Porter has joined the Corporate and Business Transactions Practice Group as an associate in the firm’s Minneapolis office.
Porter focuses her practice on commercial transactions, real estate, and business and corporate law. As a former corporate counsel attorney and sole practitioner, she has experience handling a wide range of legal needs for organizations of different types and sizes. This provides her the ability to partner with clients to create and execute practical legal strategies that minimize risk and align with business goals and objectives.

Porter completed her undergraduate studies in business administration at the University of North Dakota and earned her Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law. She is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), which is a program for professionals to show mastery of data privacy laws and regulations and how to apply them. This includes jurisdictional laws, regulations and enforcement models, plus legal requirements for handling and transferring data.
