Spencer Fane was proud to sponsor Arizona Theatre Company (ATC)’s production of ‘Private Lives,’ a work by celebrated playwright Noël Coward, at the Herberger Theater Center in Phoenix from April 15 to May 28. Attorneys Karen Wohlgemuth, Jerry Ehrlich, Norma Izzo, and Matt Rojas as well as staff member Tara Hughes represented the firm at a performance.
As explained by Director KJ Sanchez in the CITYSunTimes, the production reimagined the classic, 93-year-old comedy in South America and wove tango dancing into the plot to “dive deeper into the emotional themes of physical chemistry and once-in-a-lifetime kinds of love.” The play thus continued to captivate audiences with its clever story of an adversarial divorced couple who inadvertently honeymoon with their new spouses at the same hotel.
