Spencer Fane was proud to serve as an Imagine sponsor for the inaugural Colorado Unites for St. Jude gala on June 10 in Denver. Attorneys Michelle Berger, Jose Castro, Brenden Desmond, Jim Wooll, and Adam Veltri represented the firm at this charity benefit.
Held at the Denver Art Museum, the event included an immersive art experience featuring the work of local artists and St. Jude patients, dinner and cocktails, a live auction, and an afterparty. The gala also honored Scott “Kidd” Poteet, a Polaris Dawn mission pilot who also supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. By the end of the night, $762,000 was raised for St. Jude that will go toward treatment, travel, housing, and food for the hospital’s patients and their families.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. St. Jude is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children. St. Jude has helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80%, and it won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.
