The Spencer Fane Santa Monica office was pleased to sponsor the 2025 St. Monica Preparatory Academic & Spiritual Heritage (SMASH) Gala on May 10. Attorneys Theresa Becerra, Ebony Randolph, Alexandra Samofalova, and Lisa Tracy represented the firm at the event.
SMASH provides an opportunity for volunteers, donors, sponsors, and friends of St. Monica Preparatory to celebrate a collective commitment to education and the institution’s core values. In addition to recognizing outstanding community service, SMASH 2025 raised over $1 million in support of students who rely on financial aid. Tina and Rick Caruso were this year’s honorees and were recognized for adhering to St. Monica’s mission as part of the community-focused initiatives they spearhead and their unwavering support of the St. Monica community. Rick is the principal of Caruso, an industry-renowned real estate development business and client of Spencer Fane.
Founded in 1930, St. Monica Preparatory is a TK-12 school located in the heart of Santa Monica that provides “transformative education to navigate an ever-changing world.” It is one of several institutions that Spencer Fane proudly supports in its commitment to connecting with and improving the communities in which the firm is immersed.
