Spencer Fane was proud to sponsor JDRF’s 2023 Kansas City Dream Gala on May 6. Attorneys Aaron Prenger and Allison Tanner represented the firm at the event.
The Gala took place at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott with the theme “Outstanding Progress.” The black-tie-optional event featured a curated silent auction, cocktail reception, plated dinner, inspirational Fund A Cure, and an after-party celebration. At the Gala, community leaders celebrated all of the medical breakthroughs, continued research, and individual victories of the Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) community.
JDRF is the leading global organization funding T1D research. They are exclusively focused and dedicated to the worldwide effort to end T1D. Founded by parents determined to find a cure, JDRF expanded through grassroots fundraising and advocacy efforts to become a powerhouse in the scientific community with more than 100 U.S. locations and six international affiliates. The organization has funded more than $2 billion in research to date and made significant progress in understanding and fighting the disease.
