Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to welcome Eric N. Miller to the firm’s Overland Park, Kansas, office as an of counsel attorney in the Employee Benefits practice group.
Backed by nearly twenty-five years of experience, Eric advises clients on plan design; compliance and drafting issues for qualified retirement plans, which include 401(k) and other defined contribution plans; health and welfare plans and programs; and executive compensation plans. He has represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Department of Labor on a wide variety of issues and has extensive experience preparing filings under the agencies’ sponsored voluntary compliance programs.

Eric received his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting summa cum laude from Pittsburg State University, then earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif.
Beyond private practice, Eric has held several in-house legal positions and has published articles in the Benefits Law Journal and Kansas Law Review.
