Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Mariana Pitts joined the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group as an associate in the firm’s Oklahoma City office.
Mariana assists clients in a variety of complex litigation matters, specifically focusing on trust, estate, and fiduciary litigation with an established ability to resolve multifaceted disputes while preserving highly sensitive interests and relationships. Using the full range of dispute resolution methods, she carefully navigates private settlements and, when necessary, employs proactive litigation to obtain the most favorable outcomes for clients and associated parties. “Successful dispute resolution, especially in trusts and estates, depends on litigators who can connect with clients on a very personal level, identifying their best interests in and out of the courtroom with respect to emotionally turbulent circumstances,” said Shannon Forth Davies, Office Managing Partner for Spencer Fane in Oklahoma City. “Mariana’s incredibly diverse personal and professional background appeals to clients we may not have previously reached, equipping the firm to serve a wider range of clientele within our highly skilled, collaborative office. She is a phenomenal addition to an increasingly well-rounded team.”
Mariana completed her undergraduate studies in international relations at SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw, Poland, as well as summa cum laude at the University of Oklahoma, then earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Oklahoma College of Law while working as a legal assistant. Born and raised in Ukraine with quadrilingual skills and multinational experience, Mariana feels called to matters involving free speech and notably serves as chair of the Training Task Force on the Oklahoma Free Speech Committee.
